For a number of years NHS Cumbria has run a convenient ordering system for patients where they place their order directly with their pharmacy rather than via a GP prescription.

Patients must register to use the scheme with their surgery in the first instance and then all contact will be with us.

 

There are consultations underway on a national level about whether the NHS are willing to fund gluten-free foods and if so, how much patients will be allowed to order.  At present (August 2018) patients have been restricted to just bread and flour products.

 

We are able to order other items not on the NHS scheme if you would like to purchase them.
