Allisons Chemist Refund and Returns Policy
At Allisons Chemist, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from both our pharmacy and gift shop. Our policy is designed to be fair while adhering to health, safety, and hygiene standards required of a regulated UK pharmacy.
1. Faulty or Damaged Goods (Full Refund)
If any item you purchase from us is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed, you are entitled to a full refund under your statutory rights.

Return Cost: We will arrange and cover the cost of returning the faulty item.

Timeframe: Refunds for faulty goods will be processed promptly once the item has been inspected and confirmed as faulty.
2. Returns for Non-Faulty Goods (Credit Note)
For non-faulty items returned due to reasons such as a change of mind, incorrect sizing, or an unwanted gift, we may offer a credit note at the discretion of the management, subject to the following conditions:

Time Limit: The purchase must have been made within the last three (3) months (90 days).

Item Condition: The item must be returned in 'as new' condition—unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all seals intact.

Refund Type: If the return is accepted by management, you will receive a credit note (not a cash refund) for the item's value, usable for future purchases.

Management Discretion: The final decision to issue a credit note rests solely with the management team.
Non-Returnable Items (Health & Safety Exclusions)
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or offer credit notes for the following products:

Medicines (including prescription and over-the-counter medicines).

Food or perishable items.

Cosmetics or beauty products if the hygiene seal has been broken or packaging opened.

Pierced jewellery (e.g., earrings).
3. How to Initiate a Return
To request a return or a refund, please follow these steps:

Packaging: Carefully package the item to prevent damage during transit.

Return Address: Send the item to: JWW Allison & Sons Ltd. 31 Main St., Cockermouth. CA13 9LE.
Please note: For non-faulty items, the cost of returning the item is your responsibility.
Your Statutory Rights: This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your right to a refund for faulty goods.
