Protect yourself and your community this winter with our comprehensive flu vaccination service. We offer both the free NHS flu jab for eligible patients and a convenient, affordable private service for everyone else. Getting your vaccination at our pharmacy is a fast, safe, and professional experience. As a key provider of the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Advanced Service, our pharmacy helps the NHS maximise protection for at-risk groups, in line with guidance from the NHS. The NHS service provides a free flu jab to eligible patients, typically adults aged 18 and over. Eligibility criteria are set annually by the government, but commonly include: People aged 65 and over. People aged 18 to 64 with certain long-term health conditions (clinical risk groups). Pregnant women. Carers, or close contacts of immunocompromised individuals. Frontline health and social care workers (in specific, eligible roles). We are equipped to check your eligibility quickly. If you qualify for the free NHS service, we will administer the vaccine and ensure your GP record is updated. If you do not meet the criteria for the free NHS service, or if you prefer a private option, our in-pharmacy service provides an easy alternative for essential protection against the flu for just £15. We can vaccinate individuals aged 10 years and above under our private service but please note that any patient under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for consent and administration of the vaccine. At the start of the season we always offer walk-in options depending on demand, but this may be limited once the initial demand has dropped off.
