NHS Prescription Service At our pharmacy, we make it easy and convenient for you to get your NHS prescriptions dispensed quickly and safely. Whether your prescription comes from your GP, hospital, or an online NHS service, our qualified pharmacists are here to help. How It Works 1. Send Us Your Prescription Your GP can send your prescription to us electronically through the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS). Simply nominate our pharmacy as your preferred dispenser, and your prescriptions will be sent directly to us — no need to collect paper forms from your surgery. You can nominate us by: Letting our pharmacy team know in person or by phone Requesting it through your GP practice or NHS App 2. We Dispense Your Medicines Once your prescription arrives, our pharmacy team will prepare your medicines promptly and check they are safe and suitable for you. We’ll explain how to take them and answer any questions about your treatment or side effects if needed. 3. Collection or Delivery You can collect your medicines at a time that suits you, or ask about our home delivery (chargeable) service if this is required. Prescription Charges and Exemptions You’ll pay the standard NHS prescription charge per item unless you’re exempt. You may qualify for free prescriptions if you: Are aged under 16 or over 60 Are aged 16–18 and in full-time education Hold a valid exemption certificate (for example, maternity, medical, or pre-payment certificate) Our team can help you check your eligibility or find the best way to save on prescription costs.
