Yellow Fever Vaccination Service
A vaccine to unlock travel in South America and Africa
Service Description
As an accredited Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre since January 2025, our pharmacy provides a comprehensive, regulated service for travellers and individuals requiring certification under International Health Regulations (IHR). Our private service operates under an approved Patient Group Direction (PGD) in line with national immunisation standards and NaTHNaC guidance. This allows our specially trained pharmacist to assess, vaccinate, and certify suitable patients for yellow fever protection using the STAMARIL® vaccine. Following a detailed travel and medical risk assessment, we can: Administer the yellow fever vaccine to eligible individuals aged 9 months and over. Issue an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP), valid for life. Provide medical exemption certificates when vaccination is contraindicated. Reissue certificates if valid proof of prior vaccination is presented but the original has been lost. Vaccination ideally takes place at least 10 days before travel to allow immunity to develop and for the certificate to be valid for travel. We also offer expert travel health advice, including mosquito bite prevention and guidance on other recommended vaccinations. Our team is fully trained in immunisation practice, anaphylaxis management, and vaccine storage, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism. We use evidence-based protocols from the Green Book, NaTHNaC, and the UK Health Security Agency to ensure every patient receives care aligned with current best practice. Whether you’re travelling to or through a yellow fever risk area or need certification for border entry, we provide a trusted, convenient and clinically robust service to help you stay protected and compliant.
